01Highlights
- Three tiers with one job each: a React canvas for picking, an Express API for projects and attributes, Python for the geometry.
- The conversion is real — `ezdxf` 1.4.3 with `lxml` and `Shapely`, parsing the drawing and writing DXF entities rather than wrapping text.
- A standalone Flask service on `waitress`, deliberately kept apart from the Node backend.
- The base point is chosen by clicking a 1200×800 canvas, then converted from screen coordinates into DXF space.
- Projects and attribute definitions are CRUD'd server-side, so a block template is defined once and reused.
- A `sandbox/` with sample `.dwg` and `.dxf` files plus run logs — which is how the geometry bugs actually got found.
